Wheelchair bound dream recipient, Dr. Frank Crider, along with his two certified aides left Manchester airport via Southwest Airlines arriving tat Midway Airport on Friday, June 22, at 8:35 a.m. for the weekend of homecoming activities before his return to his home at Edgewood Center in Portsmouth. Crider, a chiropractor for 50 years in the Florida area, suffered a stroke while traveling to New Hampshire five years ago. With no immediate family, Crider remained here in New Hampshire. The Ageless Dreamer Foundation is grateful to the following for their generosity, making this dream a reality: Southwest Airlines for providing travel arrangements; Aprie Health Care, Naperville, Ill., for loaning a mechanical lift for use at the hotel room for the weekend; Homewood Rotary Club members, Drs. Aldridge and Ruth Locke for arranging handicap transportation to and from the airport and hotel; and the university for making the necessary hotel room arrangements. The Ageless Dreamer Foundation's slogan is "an attitude worth having." It was founded in January 2006 with a vision to help older citizens realize an unfulfilled dream and re-engage them in the communities they helped build. The foundation is working to help redefine what old age is and looks like. Dreams of our oldest generation will be fulfilled through funds raised from individual memberships at $12 per year. Businesses and corporations interested in participating in the program can be honored with the Attitude Seal of Approval award. Related Link:
